Serving in his fourth term, Mike Crapo (R-Idaho) is the senior U.S. Senator from Idaho. He is currently the Chairman of the Senate Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee and also serves on the Senate Finance Committee, Budget Committee, Judiciary Committee and Committee on Indian Affairs. He became a member of the Senate Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee at the beginning of his service in 1999.
U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown (D-Ohio), now serving in his second term, also serves on the Senate's Agriculture, Finance, and Veterans Committees.
Prior to serving in the United States Senate, Brown served as a United States Representative for the 13th District, Ohio's Secretary of State, a member of the Ohio General Assembly, and taught in Ohio's public schools and at The Ohio State University.
