GRAMM SETS DATE FOR HUMPHREY-HAWKINS TESTIMONY

Sen. Phil Gramm, chairman of the Senate Committee on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs, has announced that Federal Reserve Board Chairman Alan Greenspan will appear before the full committee at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2000, to present the second half of the semi-annual Humphrey-Hawkins report on monetary policy. Greenspan is scheduled to present the first half of the report to the House Banking Committee on Feb. 17.
