Sen. Connie Mack, R-Fla., chairman of the Subcommittee on Economic Policy, has announced a hearing on S. 1879, the International Monetary Stability Act, a bill to rebate seigniorage -- profits made by printing currency -- to countries that adopt the U.S. dollar as their official currency.
