GREENSPAN SCHEDULED TO TESTIFY
ON FINANCIAL MARKETPLACE OF THE FUTURE

Sen. Phil Gramm, chairman of the Senate Committee on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs, has announced that Federal Reserve Board Chairman Alan Greenspan will appear before the full committee at 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 13, to address the regulatory and structural environment for the changing securities markets.

"Nothing will have a greater impact on the future of the economic strength of America than the strength of our securities markets," Gramm said. "And there is no one whose view on the future of the securities markets is more important than Alan Greenspan's."
