Sen. Phil Gramm, chairman of the Committee on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs, announces that the committee has prepared its views and estimates of proposed funding for programs under the committee's jurisdiction and transmitted those views in a letter to the Senate Budget Committee as required under the Congressional Budget Act.
The programs addressed in the committee's views and estimates include securities markets oversight and reform; international finance and trade; federal disaster relief and the National Flood Insurance Program; federal housing programs, and the Public Utility Holding Company Act.
