Sen. Phil Gramm, chairman of the Committee on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs, has announced that the full committee will hold a hearing on four nominees at 3 p.m. Tuesday, April 24.

WHO:
Mr. Grant D. Aldonas, of Virginia, nominated to be Undersecretary of Commerce for International Trade. The undersecretary for international trade is responsible for policies and programs that promote world trade and strengthen the international trade and investment position of the United States.

Mr. Kenneth I. Juster, of the District of Columbia, nominated to be Undersecretary of Commerce for Export Administration. The Bureau of Export Administration works to advance U.S. national security, foreign policy and economic interests by regulating exports of critical goods and technologies that could be used to damage U.S. interests, while furthering the growth of legitimate U.S. exports.

Ms. Maria Cino, of Virginia, nominated to be Assistant Secretary of Commerce and Director General of the United States and Foreign Commercial Service. The assistant secretary and director general of the US&FCS is responsible for promoting U.S. commercial interests in the nation and throughout the world.

Dr. Robert Glenn Hubbard, of New York, nominated to be a member of the Council of Economic Advisers. The Council of Economic Advisors provides the President with economic analysis and advice on the development and implementation of a wide range of domestic and international economic policy issues.
