COMMITTEE TO HOLD HEARING
ON IRAN-LIBYA SANCTIONS ACT
Senator Paul S. Sarbanes, Chairman of the Committee on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs Committee, has announced that the Committee will hold a hearing on the Iran-Libya Sanctions Act, which expires in August. The Act imposes sanctions on foreign companies, which make investments "directly and significantly contributing to the enhancement of the ability of Iran or Libya to develop its petroleum resources."
The hearing will be held:
