SARBANES ANNOUNCES HEARING ON SECURITIES AND EXCHANGE COMMISSION NOMINEE
Senator Paul S. Sarbanes, Chairman of the Committee on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs, has announced that the full Committee will hold a hearing on the nomination of Harvey L. Pitt, of North Carolina, to be the Chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission.
