SARBANES ANNOUNCES HEARING ON THE
NOMINATION FOR DIRECTOR OF THE
OFFICE OF THIRFT SUPERVISION


Senator Paul S. Sarbanes, Chairman of the Committee on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs, has announced that the full Committee will hold a hearing on the nomination of James E. Gilleran, of California, to be the Director, Office of Thrift Supervision.
