Senator Paul S. Sarbanes, Chairman of the Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee, announced that the Committee has unanimously approved three nominations under the Committee's jurisdiction.

The following individuals received unanimous approval from the Banking Committee:

• Mr. Eduardo Aguirre, Jr., of Texas, to be First Vice-President of the Export-Import Bank of the United States;



• Mr. J. Joseph Grandmaison, of New Hampshire, to be a Member of the Board of Directors of the Export-Import Bank of the United States; and



• Mr. Kenneth M. Donohue, of Virginia, to be Inspector General of the Department of Housing and Urban Development.

The nominations now go to the full Senate for consideration.
