Senator Evan Bayh (D-IN), the Chairman of the Senate Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Subcommittee on International Trade and Finance, has announced that the Subcommittee will hold a hearing on "Argentina's Economic Crisis."

Scheduled to appear before the Subcommittee are:

• The Honorable John B. Taylor, Under Secretary of the Treasury for International Affairs;
• Mr. Michael Mussa, Senior Fellow, Institute for International Economics;
• Mr. Peter Hakim, President, Inter-American Dialogue; and
• Mr. Alan Stoga, President and CEO, Council of the Americas/Americas Society.
