Senator Paul S. Sarbanes (D-MD), the Chairman of the Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee, announced that the full Committee will complete a series of 10 oversight hearings on accounting and investor protection issues following the collapse of Enron Corp. by hearing from the Chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission, Harvey L. Pitt.
