Subcommittee on International Trade and Finance Announces
Hearing on the Export Control Process
Sen. Mike Enzi (R-WY), chairman of the Subcommittee on International Trade and Finance of the Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee, has announced a hearing on the Export Control Process. The hearing will address the process for granting or denying license requests for export of controlled items and allow industries to offer comments on the costs and appropriateness of the current system.
"We will hear from witnesses who can give us an in-depth perspective on the export control process, both from the side of the regulator and the side of those being regulated," said Enzi.
