COMMITTEE ON BANKING, HOUSING, AND URBAN AFFAIRS SUBCOMMITTEE ON FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS AND CONSUMER PROTECTION will meet in OPEN SESSION to conduct a hearing entitled “Are Alternative Financial Products Serving Consumers?”. The witnesses will be: Mr. G. Michael Flores, CEO, Bretton Woods, Incorporated; Ms. Stephanie Klein, Director, NetCredit Consumer Lending, Enova International; Mr. Nick Bourke, Project Director, Safe Small-Dollar Loans Research Project, The Pew Charitable Trusts; Mr. David Rothstein, Director of Resource Development and Public Affairs, Neighborhood Housing Services of Greater Cleveland; and Ms. Nathalie Martin, Frederick M. Hart Chair in Consumer and Clinical Law, University of New Mexico School of Law. All hearings are webcast live and will not be available until the hearing starts.
