Assessing and Enhancing Protections in Consumer Financial Services
The COMMITTEE ON BANKING, HOUSING, AND URBAN AFFAIRS will meet in OPEN SESSION to conduct a hearing on “Assessing and Enhancing Protections in Consumer Financial Services.” The witnesses will be: Mr. Travis B. Plunkett, Senior Director, Family Economic Stability, The Pew Charitable Trusts; Ms. Sheri Ekdom, Director, Center for Financial Resources, Lutheran Social Services of South Dakota; Mr. Oliver I. Ireland, Partner, Morrison & Foerster; and Mr. Hilary Shelton, Washington Bureau Director and Senior Vice President for Advocacy, National Association for the Advancement of Colored People. All hearings are webcast live and will not be available until the hearing starts.
