COMMITTEE ON BANKING, HOUSING, AND URBAN AFFAIRS SUBCOMMITTEE ON HOUSING, TRANSPORTATION, AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT will meet in OPEN SESSION to conduct a hearing entitled, “The Flood Insurance Claims Process in Communities After Sandy: Lessons Learned and Potential Improvements.” The witness on Panel I will be: The Honorable Craig Fugate, Administrator, Federal Emergency Management Agency. The witnesses on Panel II will be: Mr. Donald Griffin, Vice President, Property Casualty Insurers Association of America; and Ms. Maryann Flanigan, Supervising Attorney, New Jersey Legal Services, Hurricane Sandy Legal Assistance Project. All hearings are webcast live and will not be available until the hearing starts.
