The COMMITTEE ON BANKING, HOUSING, AND URBAN AFFAIRS SUBCOMMITTEE ON FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS AND CONSUMER PROTECTION will meet in OPEN SESSION to conduct a hearing entitled “The State of Rural Banking: Challenges and Consequences”. The witnesses will be: Mr. Terry L. Foster, Executive Vice President and Chief Executive Officer, MCS Bank, Lewistown, PA; Mr. Roger A. Porch, Vice President, First National Bank, Phillip, SD; Ms. Carrie Wood, President and Chief Executive Officer, Timberland Federal Credit Union, DuBois, PA; and Ms. Sarah Edelman, Director of Housing Policy, Center for American Progress. All hearings are webcast live and will not be available until the hearing starts.
