Senator Warren Statement on Upcoming FOMC Decision

Washington, D.C. – United States Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), Ranking Member of the Senate Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee released the following statement:

“The Fed is meeting to set interest rates, and they’ll have to do it without a full picture of what’s really happening to workers and families — and as private sector layoff announcements pile up. Americans facing higher costs for essentials deserve better than a Fed operating with partial data when making decisions that directly impact families’ wallets. Trump needs to release the jobs data immediately. What does he have to hide?”
