Senator Warren Statement on July 2025 Jobs Report

Washington, DC – Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), Ranking Member of the Senate Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee released the following statement:

"In July, unemployment rose, job openings fell, and more people sat on the sidelines and stopped searching for work. Meanwhile, yesterday’s inflation data showed prices are on the rise. President Trump’s chaotic on-again, off-again tariffs are are paralyzing the Fed while undermining the labor market and hurting working families."
