Senator Warren Statement on September 2026 PCE
Washington, D.C. – United States Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), Ranking Member of the Senate Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee, released the following statement:
“Donald Trump promised to lower costs ‘on day one.’ We’re 647 days in and prices are up. Today’s data confirms families paid more in September for gasoline, housing, and health care. And since Trump took office, families have paid $3,772 on average because of inflation. Trump’s failed agenda is driving up costs and eating into Americans’ paychecks.”
