Warren Response to Trump Press Conference on Chaotic Tariffs

Washington, DC – U.S. Senators Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), Ranking Member of the Senate Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee, released the following statement:

"Donald Trump illegally stole money from the American people. He should give it back to them. Instead Trump is scheming up new ways to force Americans to pay even more."

Earlier today, Warren released a statement saying any refunds from the federal government should end up in the pockets of the millions of Americans and small businesses that were illegally cheated out of their hard-earned money by Donald Trump.
