Warren Statement on Bipartisan Bill Protecting American National and Economic Security from Threats Posed by China
Washington, D.C. – United States Senator Elizabeth Warren, Ranking Member of the Senate Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee, released the following statement on the bipartisan bill she co-sponsored to codify an outbound investment screening program designed to advance our economic and national security, being included in the annual National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA):

Our bipartisan bill will help ensure that we develop the most sensitive and cutting-edge technology here in America rather than supercharge its development in countries that do not share our values.
