At 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 24, 2014 in Room 106, Dirksen Senate Office Building, the COMMITTEE ON BANKING, HOUSING, AND URBAN AFFAIRS will meet in EXECUTIVE SESSION to consider S. 527, a bill to award a Congressional Gold Medal to the Foot Soldiers who participated in Bloody Sunday, Turnaround Tuesday, or in the final Selma to Montgomery Voting Rights March in March of 1965, which served as a catalyst for the Voting Rights Act of 1965. Following the Executive Session, the Committee will meet in OPEN SESSION to conduct a hearing on “The Semiannual Monetary Policy Report to the Congress.” The witness will be: The Honorable Janet L.
