COMMITTEE ON BANKING, HOUSING, AND URBAN AFFAIRS SUBCOMMITTEE ON SECURITIES, INSURANCE, AND INVESTMENT will meet in OPEN SESSION to conduct a hearing on “High Frequency Trading’s Impact on the Economy.” The witnesses will be: Professor Hal S. Scott, Nomura Professor of International Financial Systems, Harvard Law School; and Mr. Jeffrey Solomon, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Cowen Group, Inc. Additional witnesses may be announced at a later date. All hearings are webcast live and will not be available until the hearing starts.
