Brown Statement on the Nomination of Judith Pryor to Be First Vice President of the Export-import Bank (EXIM)

U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) – Chairman of the U.S. Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs – released the following statement after the Biden Administration announced the nomination of Judith D. Pryor, a native of Richmond Heights, Ohio, to be First Vice President of EXIM. She currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors after being confirmed by the U.S. Senate in May of 2019:

“I am pleased the President has nominated Judith Pryor to be First Vice President of EXIM. The Export Import Bank is critical for American workers and manufacturers, and guarantees more American products can be sold around the world, and helps create hundreds of thousands of good-paying jobs in Ohio and across the nation.”

In 2019 Brown applauded the historic seven-year authorization of EXIM.
