Warren Statement on Federal Judge Ruling on Powell Subpoenas

Washington, DC - United States Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), Ranking Member of the Senate Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee, released the following statement:

"Today a federal judge ruled on what we all already know: the Trump Administration's weaponization of the Department of Justice against Jerome Powell amounts to nothing more than a witch hunt. The Senate should not be moving forward with any Federal Reserve nominations until the probes against Jerome Powell and Lisa Cook are dropped.”
